Saving a Wallpaper from Bing using Internet Explorer 8

In a previous post I talked about one of Bing's images, and one of the reasons why I use Bing for most of my searches. I attached the wallpaper rather easily, and today I'm showing you how to download the Bing wallpapers using Internet Explorer 8. Don't worry if you use another browser, as I'll work on a tutorial on those later on.

As far as I know for now, this is the easiest way to grab the wallpaper. With other browsers you have to open up your web inspector to get the background image. You can still do so in Internet Explorer, but it's not required. A simple right click menu option lets you get the background as easy as possible, without having to use the web inspector.

TechSNAP Viewer Discovers Critical Internet Explorer Flaw

You all remember TechSNAP, right? It's that very geeky show that is found at Jupiter Broadcasting. I wrote about them before, even posting a video of one of their shows that was probably helpful to all of you.

This time around, a user from TechSNAP submitted this flaw found in IE that describes that IE9 and IE8 in compatibility mode could mistakenly execute JavaScript code that was supposed to be displayed. Basically, it would render plain text as HTML, and then JavaScript could be rendered if it was put in that format.

A little info behind Outlook.com in Firefox

Many of you here in Techman's World know that I am a web developer, or at least I know a lot about web technologies (excluding JS). I decided to look into how Outlook.com is actually displayed on the page. Most people don't care, but there has to be someone out there that has interest in how stuff works.
