Techman's World Turns 8! 🎂🎉

Even though I don't post a lot, following annual tradition I'd like to announce that this site is now a whopping 8 years old! I can remember the birth of this place like it happened yesterday...I was awake around 1:22 AM fooling around on the internet on how to make my own blog/website, and I eventually started Techman's World on the Blogger platform. That said, every 18th of December adds another notch to the metaphorical rope that is the life of Techman's World.

This year, pretty much nothing happened on the website. Of course, I still run Techtronix and still work on the network regularly. In fact, I'm about to soon upgrade it to a newer version of the IRC software that it is running now.

More in personal life, I've also started to take programming a lot more seriously. I write mostly C++ and Java, with little activity in Python. I don't write about my programming adventures mostly because I'm not sure if there is an audience interested in it. However, I often talk about small tidbits in the Techtronix lounge chat. One topic I just may end up talking about is "puzzle pegs," also known as peg solitaire, though.

Ah yes, and for anyone wondering, my favorite editor is Visual Studio Code.
