How to use a SSH proxy

Surprisingly enough, I actually didn't know you can do this with SSH but you can actually create a locally running SOCKS proxy that tunnels through the server you are SSH'ing into. I think this is pretty useful if you want to SSH into your server that might be located overseas to access overseas content, etc.

I would sit down and write a tutorial on how to do this, but I think Nixie Pixel did a good job of demonstrating how to do this in a video, so I'll just embed the video below. While she only details using this proxy with Firefox, you can also use this with Chrome and all other programs that support using proxy servers.
And yes, I did actually try out this tutorial and it works.
