What do you think about the PlayStation Vita TV?

A day or two ago Sony announced that they will be launching another console, or at least a different variant of an existing console: the PS Vita TV. Basically this console is the entire PS Vita console, in set top box form, similar to home consoles. The PS Vita TV won't have touch screen capabilities, and it will not be able to play some games that heavily rely on the touch screen. Solutions to this particular issue and the issue are still developing, however.

Instead of doing a typical news post, I wanted to see what everyone else thinks of this. I think that it can be a very successful launch since it is a lot cheaper than the existing PS Vita console in portable form, and it can also run most streaming apps out of the box like Netflix and YouTube.

In fact, some people think that the PS Vita TV is so good, that they wish this device should be built into Sony TVs. Some have even gone as far as saying that they would like a PS4 being built into their TVs. It certainly saves precious HDMI ports, that's for sure.

I'll see if I can get in touch with Sony's PR about a possible review deal. If arrangements can't be made, then oh well. Let me know what you guys think about this console.
