Piriform CCleaner updated to v3.24.1850, new features and fixes in tow

Yesterday was Piriform's monthly update cycle for their popular Windows cleaning product CCleaner. If you are subscribed to their newsletters, you should have gotten an email yesterday, but I decided to post today.

I know that lots of you love to use the Firefox web browser. In fact, my analytics report higher Firefox usage then any other browser, although Chrome is always right up behind it. CCleaner has had IE plugin management for a while now, but in this release finally arrives the Firefox plugin management that I'm sure that all of you would love to use. I'll do a separate post on this later on.

This release also comes with architectural improvements for 64 bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7 and 8, Improved Firefox Aurora cookie cleaning, Improved Chrome Canary Saved Form Information cleaning, improved cleaning for Windows MRUs, faster automatic updating for the pro version, and minor bug fixes and UI improvements.

This release of CCleaner introduces new cleaning capabilities for more software. Cleaning has been introduced for AVG AntiVirus 2013, 4Sync, Copernic, DVDFab, Inkscape and PKZip.

You can directly download the software here from Piriform. Click here to view the download page otherwise.
