Opera 12.02 Relased

Okay, so I might have been just a little bit late on this. The release came out 8/30/12, but I still managed to notice it and now write about it.

In this release of Opera, not that much has changed. There has been a few stability improvements and bug fixes in this release, but there has been other changes.

Here is the changes from the official list:

General and User Interface
  • Several general fixes and stability improvements
  • Resolved an issue with Speed Dial thumbnails when automatic scaling is enabled
    Windows-only
  • The Windows 32-bit version has been reverted to in-process plugins while stability issues stemming from the out-of-process plugin system are investigated and resolved
Security
  • Fixed an issue where truncated dialogs may be used to trick users; see our advisory
Opera should be notifying you about the update already for Windows and Mac, and it should be listed in your package manager if you use Linux.

I also wanted to add my personal thoughts on this so far. So far, I have noticed a few speed improvements. I know that scrolling down pages is a tad smoother, and Disqus 2012 transitions work to full effect. Well they did before, but Opera handled the transitions with a little lag, at least from what I have tested. Overall, I would say that this release is worth updating too. Hope you all enjoyed this update. If you can, let me know of your thoughts in the comments below.
