NFL Football app making its return to the PS3 for this football season

If you are a lover of sports, especially football, and you enjoyed using the NFL app on your PS3, I have some good news for you. It has just been announced on the PS Blog (US) that the NFL Sunday Ticket app will be making its way back to the PS3 for this football season.

If you were a user of the MAX plan from last year, you will be able to download the app for free, and watch all of the games you want in full HD. Of course, black outs still apply

You will also get access to DirecTV's Red Zone channel. RED ZONE delivers the final yards of every scoring drive and other exciting moments from all Sunday afternoon games as they happen, and it’s a great way to stay on top of the day’s highlights.

For all of you fantasy football aficionados, the NFL SUNDAY TICKET app also includes up-to-the-minute stats to help you keep track of every play on the field. If you play NFL.com fantasy, you can follow your fantasy team in real time while watching games Sunday afternoon.

PS3 owners without access to DIRECTV will also be able to receive NFL Sunday Ticket and live stream every out-of-market NFL football game this season for $299.95.

Sony/PlayStation is very glad that they can get this app again for this year, so I hope you are happy too. The seasons starts September 9th if you were wondering.

Since this post is a little related to football, let me know of your favorite team in the comments below!
