Office 15 Begins Technical Preview

Yesterday, the office team announced on their blog that their new "Office 15" project has reached their technical preview stage. A technical preview is when Microsoft discloses their work with special costumers via non disclosure agreements. They play a key role in the development process by testing early builds and providing feedback on that. All feedback that helps make the software better is included in the final release.  PJ Hough, the writer of the post, goes on to explain that he can't release many details because of the stage of development, but does go on to explain that this Office 15 "is the most ambitious undertaking yet for the Office Division". He also tells another important feature. That is that for the first time ever, it will simultaneously update our cloud services, servers, and mobile and PC clients for Office, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project, and Visio. So basically that means that this will make people work, collaborate, and communicate smarter and faster than ever before.

If you would like to try out the software, i'm sad to say that the slots for the technical preview are closed, but all are welcome to try it out during the summer.
