Google's Chromecast reinvents the use of your TV

The Google Chromecast
Yesterday Google announced a new device that makes streaming content to your TV both easy and cheap: the Chromecast.

The Chromecast is a small dongle that plugs into your TV's HDMI port. Right now you can broadcast Netflix, YouTube, Chrome tabs, and content from Google Play. More options could be potentially added later.

Connecting your device to the Chromecast is quite easy according the instructions.
  1. Plug dongle into your TV
  2. Connect dongle to WiFi
  3. Enjoy content
Here's a video featuring the Chromecast.
The Chromecast is available for purchase from it's product page, or from online retailers such as Amazon. Some retail stores will also be stocking it in a few days. It costs $35 USD.
