Google to supply Starbucks' WiFi in the coming months

Today Google announced another thing that is "going Google" -- Starbucks' WiFi.

Over the next 18 months, Google will be working to roll out it's WiFi service to all 7,000 company operated Starbucks location. Google says that you'll be able to browse "10x faster" than before, and 100x faster if your Starbucks location is in a Google Fiber city.

The rollout is set to begin in August. Although Google mentions that there could be a while before your local location gets Google's WiFi service, they say that you'll know when your location gets the service when you pick up an SSID called "Google Starbucks".
