Firefox for Android Adds ARMv6 Support

If you love Mozilla Firefox, and wanted it on your Android phone, you might or might not have had an issue. Before, the browser on Android supported ARMv7 phones only, with Nightly builds of ARMv6 if you were interested. With today's update, however, you can now get an official build of Firefox for Android on ARMv6.

However, there are still minimal specs required to run this. The ARMv6 processor must be at least 800 MHz, and 512 MB of RAM. If your phone can meet those specs, then you can use the app.

I'll go ahead and download the app myself and look at it, and I'll possibly write a review if I have time. You can download the app from Google Play. Also, click here for the post on the Mozilla blog.
