Faults in online security these days

Recently, a Gawker Reporter's entire online presence is hacked, and all his devices wiped. This was a very interesting report, and it shows the faults that companies have for security systems. The sad part is that some of these faults are because of humans themselves.

In this weeks latest episode of TechSNAP, Allan Jude and Chris Fisher were talking about this. The points that they talk about are very valid, and I feel that I should share this with you as well. Maybe you could collect some tips from them as well, to protect your identity online from being hacked.
I encourage you to watch the full episode, or at least watch some parts of it. You can read the show notes and find more info here.
