AT&T doubling its upgrade fee to $36 on February 12th

After a really successful Q4, AT&T is doing another increase in fees. The upgrade fee used to be $18, now it is doubling to a very questionable $36. Above you see the info. It is actually a leaked Memo to its workers. Of course this doesn't sound very popular, and there is outrages across the internet. My full opinion will be in the comments below if anyone wants to see it.

And after a ping to AT&T about if this is true, they confirmed it. This is what they had to say.

"Wireless devices today are more sophisticated than ever before. And because of that, the costs associated with upgrading to a new device have increased and is reflected in our new upgrade fee. This fee isn't unique to AT&T and this is the first time we're changing it in nearly 10 years."
