Virgin Media suffers three hour outage days after announcing super-fast broadband

Less than a week after announcing that it would double its users broadband speeds, it has suffered an outage. Virgin Media suffered a nationwide blackout that sent the network dark for most of Tuesday evening. At 5:00 (UK Time), a router went bad when streaming The Jeremy Kyle Show to the nation. The company has since admitted to their faults and service was back up and running at 8 PM.
