Blast From The Past: Some funny Google Chrome speed tests from 2010

Do you remember the Chrome: Faster than a Potato speed tests that Google conducted? If not, YouTube videos will be provided below. But the real reason why I posted this article? Because I think that it should be  one of those fun moments. Now remember that this was from 2010, so Chrome was in its early versions. Google did these videos to show off the Chrome browser when it was still gaining popularity, and no where near what it is today. The video shows off the speeds of Chrome rendering a  web page versus potatoes, lightning, sound waves, and 1 or 2 more items. Now you must remember that there is a little amount of exaggeration used here, but you must think about what the hardware was that Chrome was run on. My guess is that they ran Chrome on a super advanced computer that had like 1 Gbps internet connection speeds, but that is just my guess. Something to think about you watch the video I guess.
