PlayStation 3D Display Price Slashed down from $499 to $399

I'm not sure if everyone has noticed, but recently the PlayStation 3D Display's Price has went down $100 dollars. I think this happened because they were not getting the sales figures they expected. I could be wrong, though. Now if they slashed the price down further to $300, I'm sure more people would jump on it.

What do you think about this? Did you buy a 3D Display? Does your friend own one?
