Japanese vending machine doubles as WiFi hotspot, no purchase required

Well now vending machines are not just for snacking purposes anymore. Japanese company Asahi has just unveiled an advanced dispenser that's capable of doubling as a WiFi hotspot. The machine sends out the internet waves free of charge and covers about 164 feet around it. But here is a catch: there's a 30-minute limit on each session, but a easy re-link to the machine would fix the problem. Asahi is planning on rolling out 1,000 of these in the upcoming year. If you don't live in Japan (such as me), you will have to miss this one. Unless they do make it to the US.
